Quantity Surveyor

Location: Chorley

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000pa depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage all aspects of cost control for projects.

• Oversee contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

• Collaborate with project teams to develop accurate budgets and forecasts.

• Monitor project progress and implement cost-saving measures.

• Prepare detailed reports on financial performance for stakeholders.

• Negotiate contracts and change orders effectively.

• Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality assurance protocols.

• Support project managers in resolving contractual issues promptly

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in quantity surveying or contract management within the heating, ventilation, or building services industry.

• Strong knowledge of cost control techniques and contract law.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to analyse financial data and prepare comprehensive reports.

• Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.

• Preferred: Experience managing large-scale HVAC or Passive Fire projects.

• Preferred: Certification in quantity surveying or project management.
